They just wheeled Mark into the OR. He's in great spirits this morning; we were both thinking about our friends and family out there supporting us. Although we only slept a couple of hours last night, I feel pretty wired. The surgery will be at least 6 hours after they get started, and the CRNA said it could be up to 12. I'll keep you all posted.

We sent Mark and you some love, strength , and postive energy this morning from the dock. Edie even made bracelets with Mark's name on. We love you both.
We could all feel the love and energy at the dock this AM. Since I can't figure out how to attach photos to this, I am e-mailing to Mark. Anita and Ira send their love.
If the sunrise this AM was a sign of how the day would progress, it will be a "peachy", bright, energetic day! Prayers are with you, especially today.

I got there early...so what else is new...and Sterling and I sat on the cement at the parking gate and thought of you and Sheila.
Then we got our bracelets at the gazebo and thought of you and Sheila.
Then sat and watched the sun come, one star blinking at us, Alice brought us pictures of you and Sheila and we prayed for you.
Now I have you and Sheila near my heart (in my bra on the side of the 'real breast') and I will think and pray for you and Sheila all day.

I did not make it to the dock, but I lite my candle and watched the sun come up over the ocean and gave thanks for another day's "new beginning". I believe with the amount of love and strenth that your DB family is sending, today's sunrise will make it a great day and a brilliant "new beginning". My prayers are with you!!! Take care.
